In clinical practice as a registered massage therapist (RMT) since 2000, my career has been dedicated to helping people of all ages and in all stages of life, to live and feel better. I have the skills and experience to help you guide your rehab, manage your pain, and get moving again. I strive to be evidence-informed in my practice, using the most up to date information and clinical best practice guidelines available to inform treatment decisions.
Whether you are suffering from a specific pain or injury, low back pain, neck pain, or knee pain, headaches, arthritis pain, repetitive strain injuries or training injuries, or just dealing with general aches and physical effects of daily stress, I will work with you to develop a tailored treatment approach, and support you in decreasing pain and improving function.
I am registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario, as well as being a member of the Registered Massage Therapists' Association of Ontario, and the Ontario Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners (OAO). I also sit on the Research Committee for the OAO.
I have completed the five year academic program at the Canadian College of Osteopathy in Toronto, and I'm currently completing research to obtain a diploma in osteopathic manual practice. My osteopathic education has influenced my approach to treatment, and I incorporate many of these concepts into my treatments, within the massage therapy scope of practice.
I believe that massage therapy can be valuable as part of a recovery plan when dealing with a specific injury, or as part of an overall wellness approach.
